Educational Experience at the State
Museum
The scope of services offered by the museum‘s
communication and education programme ranges from the classic
exhibition experience to museum talks, project events, excursions to
archaeological monuments, weekend workshops, family afternoons to
the organising of children‘s birthday parties. For each school and
group event an age and interest orientated coordination of the
content is possible on an individual basis as well as the
orientation to educational aims.
Under the motto „discover & experience & learn“ the projects offer
opportunities for personal activities.
All advertised activities are in modified form available to
interested parties with disabilities.
With the opening of the State Exhibition a calendar of events will
be issued containing all educational museum events.
The State Exhibition „The Forged Sky“ will form the centrepiece of
the museum‘s communication and mediation work. Activities for the
Palaeolithic and Mesolithic sections of the permanent exhibition
will of course continue.
Bookings for guided tours
of the State Exhibition are now possible. Mrs Bode will accept these
with pleasure and supply you with all necessary information (directions,
convenient visiting times, catering, tourism contacts, etc.).
